If you’re exercising at any sort sort of productive intensity then to avoid any impaired performance you need to be hydrated adequately beforehand. This is why pro athletes have some basic guidelines about hydration as feeling thirsty just before/during an event leaves it too late to correct.

Seems like a solution looking for a problem. Clear to straw-colour urine = you’re good.
