I remember when I was younger that your avoided Hyper PSU's!
This still true? I have just brought a rig with a hyper 720M psu.
Do I need to get rid asap and keep an eye on members market for a corsair or something?

Seems to get good reviews so I think its staying!

One thing to consider is that they are ancient now and that psu must be 8 years old. I would be replacing that sooner rather than later.

I would also say that if you don't need 650W (you don't) then the 650W Platinum King is not worth the extra over the 450W Gold right now. Leadex and GS yes, as they are superior platforms (and Modular) despite rated Gold not Platinum.
