Hyper threading

hey guys just your opinion on hyper threading.

i recently screwed up my pc (check earlier threads for giggle) and while in the bios i noticed hyper threading was disabled, i am under the impression that hyper threading is a good thing? but i thought maybe its disabled because my system is overclocked or something.

just want to know is there any point to having it on?

cool, i might turn it on then, i do a lot of animation and video editing no idea if it has an impact in that, but ill turn it on and see if it boosts or slows down my system
