A few days ago whilst playing a game online I got a black screen followed by graphical glitches in the form of coloured lines across the screen and then a BSOD with the error ''hypertransport synch flood error''.
Could only get the PC to work by booting in safe mode with networking.
I had a mild overclock so the first thing I did was set everything back to default. Tried to update the GFX drivers but had no effect.
Im even noticing these horizontal line artifacts in the bios and also when the GFX card has been disabled so that got me wondering if it has anything to do
with GFX at all?
Next time I tried to reboot bios was VEEERRRYYY SSSLLLOOWW and would not boot to windows with a ''bootmanager is missing or corrupt error''
I thought that perhaps the bios was somehow at fault so i managed to flash
it successfully to V1.05 but still no joy.
My OS was installed on an intel SSD and now the bios recognises its there but will not boot from it? I tried windows repair but it doesnt see the drive and Ive tried different sata ports and made sure all the power leads are correctly in but still nothing.
Eventually I have re-installed windows on a different HHD but the problems remain. It takes at least 5-10 minutes to boot to windows and I have to diasble the GFX card.
Does this sound like a faulty motherboard to you guys? unfortunately I dont have another PC to test any hardware on
