Hyper Transport Voltage... What does it do? Should I change it.

Hi, as the title says my motherboard has an option to give the Hyper Transport Voltage some more volts in the overclocking section.

Does it increase stability? Raise heat? Could someone clarify this for me. Cheers.

If you are upping the FSB (HTT) to high levels then increasing the HT voltage can in some instances aid stability although I have had no such benefit. As with any voltage increase, temps will also increase.

I wouldnt bother increasing it, I've never seen any benefit from it.
