Hyper TX3

i had one on an unlocked phenom 550 be @ 3.4 and it kept it just under 60c so i see no reason it wouldn't handle the 630 as long as your not sticking silly volts through it.
 
I think the TX3 is really under-rated. For the price they are really really good. Only problem is that the 92mm fan is quite loud on top speed.

Make sure you apply plenty of TIM. Because this is direct contact heat pipe you cant treat it like a normal flat bottomed cooler. Have a look at this review of different methods of TIM application for different types of cooler.
 
Holy photon this cooler's good. Running an Athlon II X4 630 at 1.41v/3.4GHz, idling at 30 with a single AF12025 PWM fan behind it, both fans running at lowest speeds. It is genuinely near to inaudible.

Forgot to do the above but I always seem to put plenty on anyway so :p and temps have worked out fine. For £12.50inc I am very impressed.
 
Whats the temp at load?

Im currently idling at 32 degrees C with the Stock Phenom II cooler on a Phenom II X4 955BE :p

oh btw, a stock Phenom II cooler would take you to 3.5GHz and they cost £1.10 from OcUK :p

Ah but that's with the fans up higher ;)

Load temps max 40, it was getting to 65*c on the stock cooler so all good in my eyes.
