Hi Guys
Does anybody know if it's possible to format a vhd in Hyper-V?
I have a customer for whom we installed SBS2008 in a vm on an ml350. It was just an install job there was no ongoing maintenance support.
Normally, we'd take an image of the clean install but because of the lack of an ongoing support contract we didn't bother.
Along came another supplier and installed SQL Server 2005 which has screwed up all sorts.
The install is only a month old so it would seem easier to reinstall. However, trashing and creating the VHD is an overnighter which I don't really have time for.
Is there a quick way to format the VHD before reinstalling the OS?
Cheers all.
