Hyper-V manager - ethernet connection disappears

So I've been playing around with Hyper-V manager on Windows 10.

I've created an internal & external ethernet adapter for my VMs and for some reason my physical ethernet adapter disappears from my adapter list when I log in.

I have to load up device manager where it shows and scan for hardware changes for it to appear in the network adapter list and then it works fine.


Any ideas how I can stop it from disappearing?

I understood from your first post you already had created a virtual switch.

Yes you do need one for Hyper-V to connect the VMs to the network with.
