Anyone know a way of getting the Hyper-V manager MMC snapin to work on Vista Home Premium or any other way of remotely managing a Hyper-V box?

Would appear that, without a Vista Business or Ultimate machine, there's literally no way of managing a Hyper-V Server box :(

Yeah, theres a HyperV management pack you can download for Vista. :).
Cant rememeber the name off the top of my head otherwise i'd link. :p.
 
Yeah that's what I'm using at work but it doesn't work on Home Premium, only Business or Ultimate. Thanks for that Microsoft!

I can see their reasons for that little 'change' between the versions.
But its still daft that they did it! lol.:p.
