Hyper x Cloud 2..mic not working

Ever Since I removed my soundcard, the mic for my headset stopped working. Only reason i removed it was due to my home speakers weren't being detected..which solved it..but now the headset mic isnt working with the onboard card.

Do i have to install drivers or is there a setting?

It uses a 4 pole plug so you'll need a splitter to use it with a standard onboard soundcard. This will split the input and output connectors so you have one for each socket on your motherboard.

It wasn't a soundcard that came with a headset, it was a card which I had to use on my previous MOB, due to onboard being faulty. But speakers didnt work with it..but now mic doesnt..so i guess i have to put card back and forget the speakers lol

Maybe they're just flimsy?

I think it may of been working now, I unplugged the jack plug out of the other remote thing, plugged into the 2.0 usb port instead of the 3.0 which used to work before..weird
