Hi,

I'm looking to purchase these headphones for use with xbox one, was just wondering if this has mic monitoring and if not does it affect experience.

I dont want to be shouting when both headphones are on.

Does anyone have any other headphone recommendations if not?

Thanks in advance

Microphone monitoring, is usually a feature of whatever the headset or microphone is connected to, not a feature of the headset itself. This can be done in Windows for example. If the Xbox has this feature also, then there should be an option to turn it off in the settings.

You could save yourself £15 and get the Cloud 1. Biggest difference between the 1 and 2, is that the 2 comes with a USB adaptor, which isn't compatible with consoles. Both headsets connect directly to the controller, so with the Cloud 2, you'd be paying for the USB adaptor you wouldn't use, unless you also plan to use the headset with a PC as well.

The Cloud's are probably the best stereo headset choice. If you want a headset with surround sound effects, you'd have to pay quite a chunk more cash.

I just bought the Cloud 2 after owning Creative Fatal1ty for several years and these are extremely comfortable and the sound is very good.

They feel very well made for the money but as Marsman said, you are paying extra for the USB controller. The main headphone to stereo jack cable is no more than 80cm long (at a guess) so if you were going to be playing at any distance you would need extension cable.

Personally I would go for it, I'm very glad I did.
