Hyperoptic renewal

I’m currently with hyperoptic, my renewal time has come around.

Anyone got any tips on how I can get them to match my current price £38 (including a static ip on the 1gb. Package)

They’ve said £43 but new customers can get my 1gb with static for £35 a month

Erm, I just got renewal literally this week and they offered me same package if I get new 24-month contract.
And I pay 35 for 1gbps plus 5 for static IP - total of 40..

If it's not just you in the house then cancel and say you're moving out and have someone else sign up. Also for some reason the prices available going through Uswitch are massively better than anywhere else, https://www.uswitch.com/broadband/providers/hyperoptic/

£30 for 1Gb on a 24-month contract.

i was happy with that price to be fair as includes the static ip which is £5pm

That seems reasonable, I pay £39 without the static IP but with a MiniHub included. That was a renewal offer from about 18 months ago though.

Yeah it helped with some signal/speed issues I had with Google Home speakers and other devices on the other side of my flat to where my Hyperoptic install is, and fortunately I was able to have it connected via an ethernet cable so speeds are perfect. I did initially try a fancy TP-Link router but I didn't get along with it too well so sticking with the HO kit seemed the safer option. Their routers etc are nothing fancy but mine have been reliable.
