Bit of a vague question, but is the difference in performance between HT and non-HT P4s very noticeable?
I'm looking to upgrade a few bits, inc the CPU, and while I'm getting along fine on my standard P4 2.6, I'm tempted to splash out on the 3.0HT. Or should I go for a 3700+ instead, I've been tempted by that too... I'm not much of a hardcore gamer, but I would like to be able to keep up and mess around on FEAR and things with them performing well, and I do mainly uni work, internet, but some music and graphics stuff too... Or should I just save my money instead!
