ive got an overclocked bundle (i7 2600k @4.7ghz)
been playing battlefield 3 but getting the stuttering issue caused by having hyper threading turned on.
my question is, will it be save for me to switch off hyper threading in the bios (just until a driver/patch is released) without any of the other overclock settings being affected or causing instabilitys.
i did load standard settings with hyperthreading off and the stuttering issue went away. just need to know if i can run my overclock settings but just turn hyper threading off.
