any ocuk staff tried these??

Not yet, but I really liked my Cloud 2 - and PCG put the audio at 5.5/10 and 7/10 for mic clarity, with a 7/10 for comfort.

Personally, I think the audio is a bit better than mid-ground, and the comfort for me is spot on (and I have a big ol' noggin).

Knowing this, and seeing they put the Revolver at a 8/10 for audio, and also knowing that they tested this on PROPER audio testing equipment including the horrific looking fake human head - I would have to assume that the Revolver does deliver.

Genuinely thought the review was going to be some bloke, but that thing actually tests the human threshold for hearing and they include frequency response charts. Charts show quite a smooth response through the lows but it's probably been tweaked a bit for mid level frequencies where speech and "noise" (footsteps etc.) is prominent - so yeah, you'll get a little bit of help in games (I imagine).

Until I test these, I couldn't give my trained opinion but from the evidence presented I'd have to say I'm impressed.

A £20 headset is sub £100, and this is sub £100.

Your explanation didn't really help

You're right, £20 is still sub £100 - but come on, you know what he flipping meant ¬_¬
Let me rephrase: For the price, the performance is akin to that of it's rivals in a ±£20 range.
