HyperX DDR 3 Savage memory

Hello. I currently have Kingston Hyperx Genesis 4GBx2 1600MHZ in my system. I wanted to upgrade my memory only to find out the Hyperx Genesis has been discontinued and replaced with Hyperx Savage memory. My question is can i use the Savage memory with the older Genesis memory?

I think you totally can if you keep them at the same settings (voltage, clock, timing)

Are you upgrading to 4x4GB now? I think you should be fine if the voltage, speeds and timings are the same or similar (ideally the same).
