Hypothetical Parking Question

After reading a thread in GD about being fined for parking over the white line in a car park, I wondered.....

If you parked across 2 bays in a pay and display carpark, but purchased 2 tickets and displayed them, would you be doing anything wrong?

As I see it, you have payed the price for 2 bays, and are displaying the tickets as required by the 'laws' of the carpark.

dont get me wrong, I dont park like a spaz, I use the parent/child spaces so I have more room anyway.
