Hypothetical question regarding 3 x 7970's

I have three 120hz, 24" screens

awesome! i have always wondered if many people went for this option.

Have you managed to play much in full 120 and 3x Eyefinity?
I would imagine on most new things the graphics would need to be cranked down somewhat!

Yeah plays everything fine apart from Crysis where it just dies but I think the game needs installing again as I had played it previously on one screen and it was fine.

Crysis 3?

Strange one, even at 90fps when I just use FXAA the game still seems to have some kind of input lag, especially multiplayer.

To be honest when I first built the PC it was running at around 90fps on one monitor. I then changed drivers and stuff on the PC and tried it a few weeks later and it was getting 40odd FPS and it just dies completely on eyefinity. Weird really.

Only miss having nVidia as I can't try 3D but hopefully AMD release something better than what's out there at the mo.

Doh...

The gpu reactor touches the other fan. I have removed the cover and what is left is in the pic above. Need something to seperate them slightly.

It seems after research the gpu reactor isn't needed when in CF. Its easy to unplug and would solve this issue. Anyone got an opinion on that?

GPU reactor just minimizes ripples, has no effect of vdroop. No need to have it on if you cant get the cards to fit together. Don't need to be on both for cf either.
