think he might be talking about a different screen to you there?! The Q90U has only been out under a year and is a TFT so will only support up to 75Hz max refresh rate as well. To answer the OP quesiton, yes, it's a good screen and uses an AU Optronics 3ms TN Film panel (M190EG02 V1) very similar to that used in the VX924 and VX922. A good gaming screen and about as responsive as you could hope for from the TFT market right now
