My new monitor has just turned it's self off and wont turn back on, If I unplug the IEC lead for a bit and then plug it back in the blue LED lights up for a few seconds then turns its self back off and wont go to standby. Is this some form of thermal cut out? I hope so:(

I have one of these monitors which died 6 or so months after I got it. Sounds like yours may need RMA'ing. If you've only just bought it try and get a replacement through the company you ordered with, otherwise you'll need to contact RepairTech who handle Hyundai's repairs in the UK. When I dealth with them a few months ago their contact number was 08718553171. You'll probably be looking at around a 2 to 3 week turnaround with them...

Mines suffering from the stand by bug takes a while to get it to show the screen then i leave it on

i bought it from ocuk what warranty come with it? i think its over 2 years old
 
bought mine 4/10/2006, just died yesterday same thing stay in standby altho it was acting up a bit before that aswell with flashing on and off. Called them and there gonna get back to me as i had to send proof via email.
 
just an update on this, 3 weeks till i got my monitor back, also dont send it in the original box as u wont get it back!!!!

i might be having dvi issues aswell as dvi + a new cable wont work altho i need to test the cable on another monitor first :)
