Hyundai - Q17

I have a Hyundai Q17 monitor which states that it can go up to 1280 x 1024 resolution.

When I select this the picture goes off the screen.

Is there anyway that I can get this to show on the whole screen in that resolution?

Dont worry all that suggested things, i unplugged the monitor and plugged back in and it cleared itself!
