Hyundai Q261 26'' LCD TV Monitor

Hi,

Just wondering how good this LCD TV screen is ?

It has great specs:

- HD Ready
- 66 cm (26“) screen diagonal
- 16:9 aspect ratio
- 8ms response time
- 1366 x 768 Pixel native resolution
- 1000:1 contrast ratio
- 500 cd/m² luminance
- 170° (h./v) viewing angle

But was wondering what the major let downs are. I can see that the resolution is at 1366x768 where the new gfx cards can play screen res of upto 2566 (or something), so maybe a higher res screen?

Just need a little help why its not such a big thing with this screen in the forums.

Its 26" and not 32 or 37?

Depends on your planned usage, how for you sit from it.

Most people are put of by resolution. I am blind enough it doesn't matter, just don't have the money or I would tell you.

One thing that would be weird is using word and excel with such big letters, but i guess you would get used to it

Games and movies would dominate on a screen like this though.

You might also want to peruse the Home Cinema & HiFi forum as there is a lot of TV chat in there...the Hyundai is ultimately a TV.
