Purchased this beauty from OcUK back in January- it's a lovely screen (except for how much heat it seems to put out; a fair bit more than my previous Dell 2407 but that's besides the point).
For no apparent reason, I turned it on the other morning aaaand.....nothing happened. The monitor gets power, the backlight turns on briefly when I turn the PC on (I know it's not actually a backlight but you know what I mean- you can tell when there's a light source and when there isn't). After a few seconds the screen goes into standby mode and the power light flashes quickly from red to blue and back again every few seconds- other than that, I get nothing.
I find this odd as it was working perfectly right up until the moment I turned it off when I went to bed not 8 hours before, and nothing got near it in the night. I've tried using alternate inputs (the VGA is as unresponsive as the DVI I was using) and pressing buttons which would normally cycle the inputs also has no effect; it's as though it can't see any of the stuff plugged into it. I don't have a manual to hand and the website doesn't seem to have an english version for download....anyone have any ideas? I've unplugged it and left it for a day or so and just tried again...still nothing...anyone have any ideas?
