Afternoon all,

Got a 27" G277HU 1440p from OCUK a while ago and noticed that when connected to my Nvidia rig it was running 60hz and overclocked to 64hz yet just plugged it into a AMD RX build and was displaying 75hz.

At the time of purchase OCUK and acer didn't list as 75hz and it doesn't have freesync on it.

Used the same Display Port 1.2 cable on both nvidia and radeon build so slightly confused .

anyone come across this or experienced this before ?

On most websites there is no refresh rate listed, which led me to believe it's probably a 60hz monitor, which makes it odd that your AMD card has chosen 75hz.

However a certain electronic retailer owned by the same people that could make Vindaloo it is listed as:

Frequency range - Horizontal: 30 – 80 kHz
- Vertical: 55 – 75 Hz

Which would suggest 75hz is fine. Short of contacting ACER and enquiring I can't really suggest anything else.

funny enough its not listed on other websites as being 75hz. I am using the cable supplied so not sure if its that whats been causing the issue . Really just odd Nvidia control panel lists 60hz. Would understand if listed 60hz but can be overclocked to 75hz but only makes 64hz .

will see how far is overclocks with AMD.

May mean giving up my personal Strix 1070 for Vega

similar versions sold here state 60hz
