Hi,

I want to buy 2 of these monitors. I have a Sapphire ATI HD 5670 with 1x Dual link DVI-D, 1x HDMI and 1x DisplayPort.

1) I think it will work if I plug them to the DVI and DisplayPort, am I right?

2) Since these monitors only have DVI connection where can I buy the DVI to DisplayPort cable?

3) A DVI-DP adaptor works too?

Thanks for eveything :P.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Firstly you're not allowed to link to competitor sites so please edit your post.

The monitor only has a dual link DVI-D connection.

You can connect one monitor to the dual link DVI on the graphics card.

The cables and adapters you listed won't work for the other monitor.

You need a DisplayPort to Dual Link DVI adapter for the second monitor. Dual link is needed to support the 2560x1440 resolution. These are a lot more expensive than the ones you linked to.

Don't bother with these monitors they have issues with certain 5 series ATI cards (no BIOS displaying) and have major quality issues.

This one?

Think I might have to agree with the rest on staying away. My first one the picture went all green and weird and I had to get it replaced, which was a mega hassle as I have the glass version and no couriers will insure it and now the backlight on my replacement is playing up.
