Just been fiddling and found out how to connect my 360 to my PC over the network 4tw. Now have access to music and pictures from my PC hard-drive :D (not had it long .. scince saturday).

It's probably not such a big thing but im chuffed i can listen to all the music on my PC sitting from my couch or show pics without having to huddle round the PC desk :p or both at once ^^

Also, who has PGR3 or FNR3? :)

Nice one Chadd, it's pretty cool just streaming off HD and its so easy to set up.

I notice you are from Wirral. Me too :p add me on xbox live-Arsey01 :)

What games do you have also?

Just PGR3 and FNR3 atm, gonna be getting Burnout as I loved it on the PSP and ive heard its great on Live.

Also, Gears of War when its released.

Was thinking of getting Dead Rising but the demo put me off, gonna try a mates full game before making the purchase :D

Edit: On the way home after work i have to get a bus to upton as no bus goes straight through to west kirby from prenton :(

Download Windows Media Connect 2 for your PC.

On the 360 go to Media and then music and then computer and it should show you all the computers on the network.

Right both my 360 and PC are hardwired into my router. I installed the program and have it running, turned on my 360 and did the steps you said but it doesnt come up in the devices and the pc doesnt show up on the 360 network.

Any more clues?
