I'm not sure if the link would be permitted, so you'll just have to take my word for it.

Someone just bought a NEW Powercolor HD 5870 from the bay, for just £150 after being the only bidder.

LUCK, MUCH.

How could I miss an oppotunity like that?

I AM DISSAPOINT.

balls! maybe its a brick

did the listing look credible?

hard to believe at that price it isn't a scam,

likely outcome, the buyer will be 150quid worse off and the seller will be blocked.

Plenty of bay GPU scams. I've been stung once. Even with Paypal dispute resolution finding in my favour I still ended up £20 out of pocket (better than the full £120 I guess).

Normally you see a "bidding ended early" type message on those.

Cant see a £150 in completed listings now, and the 1p one ended 5 minutes after it started.

I feel comfortable buying from trustworthy online shops, but e-bay or anything else that involves buying directly from users is usually a no-go for me.

my friend got a 295gtx of ebay ( 2nd hand ) for £90. The only problem was that the guy before him had it in a watercooling system but took the water block off and sold it just the card with no cooler. Of course the total price would be about £150 because he got another cooler for it. Hes still useing it :) thats been like a year or something.

i don't like using things like ebay, were I have to use thier pay services with ebay it might not turn up

I would perfer to go and see it first, deal with the seller face to face I hand the cash over he/she hands over the product.....sorted

The buyer will get an email:

'Sorry the card got dropped and got broken'.

Sellers will say the above (or words to that effect) 99% of the time when something sells for much less than it is worth.
