Bah, Been looking the last week for a new contract. I am going to go on either the O2 £45 or £65 a month tariff so have a good range of phones to choose.

I am after a phone that has Wifi, mainly so I can sit on the loo and browse the internet :p and also one that I can use for basic calender tasks and notes. It would be nice to be able to read word files on it as well as well as .pdfs.

The phones I have looked at are; O2 exec, O2 mini s and 9300i.

I am worried about the size of the exec and the speed on the mini s. My car already has build in sat nav so won't be wanting to run tomtom or anything like that.

What about the 9300i? The most expensive out of them all but only just been released and not many others have them so far. Annoying that is has no vibrate function but still an option. Will this 9300i do the things I want it to i.e. the word and pdf reading?

What would you guys go for? Is the exec really that big or the Mini really that slow?

I am trekking down to o2 2moz to make my choice so please oummle me with your opinions and any q's I should be asking.

I feel I want a pda to assist me with my work but something is also telling me to stop being a knob and just get me a 8800 :)

ive got both the 8800 on the mini s, to be honest i prefer the mini s over the 8800, just due to the functions and the keyboard though.
The mini s isnt as slow as people say tbh, once u get rid of the o2 carp it works fine, used mine for everything from word docs to net browsing and messenger, plus as a mp3 player, video player and gaming, its a nifty little device

If it is going to see serious browsing use or serious work use then the XDA is the business. I have one but don't use it much as it is too big for me to carry around all the time in a jeans pocket.
I have an Imate Jam (MDA compact) it doesn't have wireless but the size is spot on.

If I get another phone it might well be the upgraded version with wireless the JAMin I think it is being called or also known as the Qtek S200 I think.
