i am after a monitor that i can duel screen with but also be able to play my ps3 on. is there a monitor that will let me do this. previously i used a tv as my pc screen. any sugestions wud be great thanks

Hi there,

When you say dual screen - do you mean:

- you want to use it with another monitor in windows (like this)
- you want to connect two inputs to the monitor (say a PC and a PS3) and switch between the two full-screen inputs
- you want to connect two inputs into the monitor and have the two images side-by-side or picture-in-picture

Also, do you have a budget it mind, what PC stuff will you be mainly doing with the monitor and will you need speakers on the monitor?

yeh tht is wat i am doing now so i wud like to do it still. i use it mainly for pc games but i use it so i can do 2 things at once haha .

not sure about the budget but was just wondering lol

Ah, ok. Well you don't need anything special on the monitor side to support dual screens - you just need the PC's graphics card to support it. May I ask what graphics card you have?

As for running a PS3 - ideally you want a 1080p resolution monitor with a HDMI input (plus another digital input for running the PC).

This is a decent monitor for gaming, it is good value and has all the connections you will need (including some speakers - though they are poor quality).

If you can spend a bit more then this 120Hz monitor would be excellent for gaming and it supports 3D.
