I am confused with SATA controllers!

I have a Gigabyte 890FXA-UD5 AM3 motherboard and was wondering if someone could help me configure it to run my 4 SATA devices please.

I have a SSD SATA II 60gb (currently with issues)
WD 1 TB SATA drive
Pioneer & Samsung DVDRW

There are several options: AHCI in SATA or RAID or IDE
It can use an AMD controller or jmicron Gigabyte controller. Any help choosing the best one to use on a Win 7 64bit SP1 install would be much appreciated. Thanks

I would use the AMD Ports and use AHCI.
