I need to buy a new GFX card which is better than what I got now, but not toooo expensive. Should I wait for 2900 pro, or you think the 8800 GTS is the safe way to go?

Too early to say what the Pro will be like.....although past experience suggests it will be a good 'un :)

The GTS is a good card, assuming you mean the 640MB with your monitor ;) - why not get a 2900XT ?
