I am Mr Ill

He was bragging about getting a free house off his Dad and how he could spend all his dole money on Sky HD and BT Infinity in another thread and got a load of stick for that too. That's why he's not getting any slack this time right from the word go.

Not aimed at the OP, but I hate it when doctors say people are "ill" and then write them off work. The more they get told, the more they believe it and the sorrier they feel for themselves. I have a number of friends like this - funnily enough, hardcore gamers and off work

Some people just need to sort their lives out tbh.

So, does this affect your holiday OP?

Holiday isn't until May, so no.

Too many lazy asses in this country :(

Mate, if I had the energy to get up and go out I would.

I am struggling right now, constantly coughing funky coloured gunge up and struggling to breathe. The doc said the only thing for it is use my inhalers when needed and take my antibiotics, oh and drink plenty of fluids and rest...

Woop Woop... I'm poorly again!

Just got back from doctors and I have something wrong with my lower back that needs a specialist and I have bronchitis again. :(

Time to sit my fat backside down and smash some gaming out :)

Sit on your fat backside gaming all day then you will end up with a DVT ... then bronchitis will be the least of the problems for your lungs to worry about.

Antibiotics? Seeing as 90% of acute bronchitis cases are viral they're probably placebo.

Did you read my post? I suffer from a chest condition that would make your bought of bronchitis look like a walk in the park. However the big difference is I haven't just given up. Unlike you I'm carrying this condition with me to the grave. I know it's not easy to push on when your are always ill but just giving up isn't right. I have a load of respect for people with health problems who push themselves and achieve but I have zero respect for the whiners.

One thing; resting won't do your back any good, nor would carrying too much weight.
