I blame Dangerous!

well the AMD rollers read a lot lower than Powerstation! Although I can see from the figures they didn't put in the correct atmospheric details though which will effect it, 0c apparently today! So the correction factor is out. Although not so important for this as the variables were the same between the runs, so its a fair comparison for the before and after.

Before 461 bhp / 534 lb/ft torque ( more like 490 lb/ft but is spiked early on because of the auto box.

After 486bhp / 526 lb/ft. Broadly about 20 lb/ft increase across the board and holds the power a little better between 6000 and 6500 rpm (redline). before remap power at 6000rpm was 460bhp, after was 482bhp, so +22bhp, at 6500rpm its 420bhp before and 470 after, so + 50bhp.

Haven't really had a chance to feel any difference yet, but Vmax should be a bit more interesting.

yeah, £306. They tried charging me £399 as they changed the prices last week but I put a stop to that!

504bhp / 544 lb/ft

although power was still climbing but hit speed limiter in 4th at 155mph, which was about 5500rpm. so would have made a bit more BHP if it ran out all the way to 6500rpm. ( peak power before remap on AMD rollers was at 5825rpm)

AMD did the runs in 3rd and they didn't seem to have the problem of the rollers spinning up. so they could get readings all the way to redline before and after.

I would expect you to see high 160's at Vmax, I call 169mph. My RS4 with 12bhp at d weeeels was seeing 160mph on the limiter around 200 yards from the line, I suspect 162mph without would be about it, which I believe is what a delmited RS4 soft top did on the same day. M5 is PROPER quick, not sure the E55 would keep up so I call 169mph. Might see you there and we can have a side by side so you can show me how much quicker your Hurse is to my Uber Clarkson. :D

The big question is that when is Dangerous himself going to finally get himself a good car rather than tagging along in everyone elses :D

Its been nearly 5 years since he sold the ST220!

We want some naughty antics! Not the car park capers in the snow (I've still got that somewhere - hilarious!) - but you know what you need to do Tom ;)
