I'm either going to have it for breakfast, or lunch, or even dinner depending on how i feel, it's in my fridge nicely sealed, £3 sumthings worth of rump steak from tesco.

How do i cook it? I normally like my steak medium rare!

If you don't have a "George Foreman" type grill, then just fry it.

Put a small amount of oil in the pan, and put it on the heat. Season the steak to taste (I like a little salt, plenty of black pepper, and a bit of balsamic vinegar). Then, put it in the pan and cook it until it''s the way you like it. Given that it's rump steak, if it's too rare it might be a little tough.

well first super heat the frying pan (ie leave it on max heat till it starts smoking with nothing in) Oil or butter the steak it's self then it's do 1.5 mins a side (turning once ) but that might might be a bit rare for you so try 2 mins a side, but don't forget to let it sit (under some tinfoil) for 5 mins or so after you cook it, so it relax again.

*i do like mine quite rare so you may want to cut into it and see if it's cooked you :)

You might want to search for acidhell2 and steak he's posted some good times for them :)

after 5 minutes won't it be cold?

like i said i like mine ery rare (almost raw) but just remember to leave it to sit for a few minutes. (the tinfoil should keep it warm) without a rest it is tough

But do search for acidhell2 's posts on steak he's got a few good times up.
