I put down a £1500 deposit on a pioneer 436xde today..I should be receiving it in about one to two weeks time..
(Full price is £2270 excluding vat for screen only (speakers & stand is extra)..
(Note this is from a guernsey retail store..So prices are very high over here)

It's taken me about 6 months of researching to finally choose this TV screen..
I started off wanting a toshiba 32"LCD and then that changed to a toshiba 37"LCD and after seeing how much better SD tv looks on the pioneer plasma to the LCD screens.I then changed to looking at 42/43" plasma displays..

Have fun you won't be disappointed with it.

Many thanks for the reply...Very nice setup you have there...

Which conections are you using for your Xbox360 and DVD player on yours..

(I just wish it had two component inputs on it)

Set up has recently changed when my sony amp and sony dvd player died. They have now been replaced with a denon 2807 amp and 1920 dvd.

Connections as follows
Xbox 360 - component - amp
sky - rgb scart - component adaptor - component - amp
dvd - hdmi - amp
amp - hdmi - plasma media box

Amp then switches everything and tv is left on same channel.

Am hoping to get an amp sometime soon...Just been left a little skint now,
After having a two week holiday in england and buying this TV in the same month..

I have the Pio 504, which is a couple of generations older. It's still superb, and IMHO, Pioneer make some of, if not the best plasma's going.

Enjoy your new panel, I'm sure you will. :)
