Hi
I have been waiting what seems like an ice age for FTTC to come to my area and today right on time it is avalible...however my landlady wants her house back in October so I don't know what to do. I've asked BT and they said they will set up the move over free of charge although I don't fully believe they would actully send an engineer out to set fibre up the second time FOC. Sky (who I currantly with) can't give me any information about wheather I'll get charged the second time at all (in fact the guy I spoke to seemed clueless about sky fibre dispite the fact it's nearly released).
Also if that wasn't enough of a headache I want to make sure I can get 80mbs download when everything is upgraded but most people think sky won't do it plus they only have 2mbs upload but they are cheaper than BT.
So should I:
1) Move to BT, pay the extra know that I'll get the extra speed if possible and hope they don't charge to install it a second time when I move
2) Stick with Sky, upgrade to fibre and hope all is well
3) Put up with Copper for now, watch how people get on with Sky and decide on Sky or BT when I move house.
Many Thanks
