As some of you have probably guessed i have spent a lot of time in the last few weeks trying to get 470's and 480's to work properly with seti.
On my search i came across i bunch of guys on the seti message boards who as well as people in my own team helped me enormously.

I figured i owed them more than a word of thanks and agreed to crunch for their team on the understanding that there was no way i was leaving ocuk .
Well one eagle eyed ocuk member spotted my game a few days ago - remind me not to pick ToxicTBag2 as a second username - doh!
That ocuk member was friendly enough about it and agreed not to out me to you guys as long as i didnt contribute more than a 100,000 and didn't leave the team.
Eagle eyed ocuk member number 2 emailed me today with the ToxicTBag2 username and asked me do i know who it was and that they were worried.
That along with my rewiring at home might be leading some to think i may be having second thoughts about this team.
Thinking about the rewire i can do it in stages lights 1 day ring main next etc so there may not be any interruption to output depending on how well i plan it.

Just to make one thing absolutely crystal clear there's no way on this earth i am going to leave OcUk i am having a good time, have received untold help, advice and the occasional insult:D
So let the insults commence and the traitorius remarks flow.....c'mon get it out of your system and we can concentrate on what really matters like the next stomp.

:p lol well one good thing the cards are finally working Edge and a big thanks to ya on resheduler, you were right drop the files no opt app just resched and its working a damn site better ;):D
 
Hi M...just the cruncher
As a matter of fact i have a wild imagination and have seriously considered an armed anti seti squad for the next few nights ....figuring they'd send you in as "the muscle"
Have set myself up a little game corner with xbox and pc...was given a game cryostasis any good?(that'll be the old monitor going on mm in 24 hours)
Is there anything out there that supports xbox 360 controller support on pc, i know i can play on the xbox but i fancy trying my hand at pc games now i have half decent cards - and i have just registered them too - first time i ever did the sensible thing god bless zotac and there extended warranty.
Spec me a game i can buy or errr you know, something i can get lost in for hours and take random potshots at innocents and ice cream salesmen.
I'm in a kind of "if it moves frag it" mood :D
 
Oh crumbs thats all i need a criminal crunching record.... seriously TT it was a thank you not a stepping stone - eeeerreee ang about if i read the jury correctly the ayes have it - sorry TT hung jury i acquit myself - hurrrahh h'onwards and h'upwards, i smell 50000 p day shortly (unreserved bribery):p:D
 
:D Nah just as and when i want to no commitment - mmmm long enough for you to get no 1 in folding then put your soon to be purchased evga hydro coppers into crunching full time? ;):D
 
Short term solution to daytime overheating. Its just an air cooler not a conditioner, you have to fill the back with water and drop in two freezer blocks - like the ones you put in a cool box. A...s decent enough for the money

It's 3.27am so it must be dumb question time - is there a way you can set boinc do only do gpu tasks and not use the cpu at all? :confused::)
 
Ahh thank you Mr Halz Sah much appreciated, just while i was doing some work i thought it might be an idea to free up the proc to avoid errors and the like....:)
