I can't believe this.

We as human beings are photosensitive.
What's so hard to dismiss a possible theory that the inner ear is photosensitive and is connected to the brain through nerve endings and cells?

Why would your ear be different from any other part of your body?
Why not shine a light at your foot?

Is there any conclusive evidence dismissing this theory?
Thats not really how it works...
If you make a claim like "my ear is light sensitive", then it's up to you to back up your statement, not the rest of us to disprove it.

Otherwise i could say:
-Aliens exist
-God exists
-The world is secretly run by lizardmen.
Please provide conclusive evidence to dismiss these theories, or accept that they are all true.

Well, it's a start isn't it. We as human beings are photosensitive. What's so hard to dismiss a possible theory that the inner ear is photosensitive and is connected to the brain through nerve endings and cells? Is there any conclusive evidence dismissing this theory?

Although your obvious youth earns you some lenience, you still ought to have the ability to come to rational points of view.

- How would the inner ear become photosensitive? To the best of our knowledge, has the inner ear ever been exposed to light? In humans? In ape ancestors? In small mammal ancestors? In aquatic whale-like ancestors?
- If the answer to the above is "no", then why would the inner ear be photosensitive?

The possibility is there - but "well it might be true" is not a credible basis for suggesting it is, and as touch says, "can anyone disprove me?" is not how this works.

What's the clinical testing by the University of Oslo that they mention? It apparently works for 92% of cases (according to said clinical testing), lols.

They'll no doubt say that the clinical testing was of light on people with SAD and that worked. Hence shining light into people's ears clearly will work.

Being serious for a second... why don't we have robust consumer laws that would cause everybody associated with this product to be sued to personal bankruptcy?
