Ok so I built my onw computer recently, everything works fine etc, but theres one thing that I just can't seem to be able to fix.

On steam, when I run games like Garrys Mod/TF2 my screen goes black, comes back, goes black, then my drivers crash and the sound is looping like a broken record, this only happens with games made by valve, anything else is ok.

It's as tough it's trying to run the games off an intergrated gfx card but my asus graphics settign is PEG/PCI

I'm using a i5 2500k, gfx 570 and asus p8p67LE

Anyone know a fix for this, it's so annoying and frustrating. i've tried so many things

I've tried reinstalling drivers, running it in windows, messing with graphics, i think my graphics card is fine since i tested it with a program

A quick google search suggests it might be a driver problem, try newer (if there are any) or older drivers for your graphics card.

I have tried reinstalling drivers, tried older more stable versions, nothing!

Also this happens when I go IN game

For an example, when a map loads i'll appear, move my mouse, it'll freeze, go black, hear sound looping then crashing "driver crashed and recovered"

I'd start forcing everything to stock settings in the bios if you can, reinstall OS and any applications that you're having issues with- all the usual fault finding stuff. If the problem still persists then work on narrowing it down at a hardware level. A spare gpu and HDD, would be good at this point along with running memtest and testing each module separately.

How would I go about like wiping everything back to factory settings?

like delete OS and everything

Load up the Windows 7 installer again, you can wipe and reinstall from there :) As it's a new build though, I'm guessing it's not an OS issue, however it pays to rule out any potential issues.
