Hi, just trying to overclock a E2220, went to BIOS and cannot for the life of me find the settings.

Here is the motherboard:

Google has failed me, I'm hoping somebody can help :)

Not all motherboards are created equal. That board almost certainly does not have any overclocking capabilities.

Even if there were overclocking options, the board itself probably couldn't handle the strain anyway. It's not 'enthusiast-quality' :(

Well, going from 2.4ghz to 2.8 or 3.00 wouldn't put that much strain on it and would make a small but noticeable difference.

But oh well :(

There was a program people were using a few years ago called 'clockgen', which allowed limited overclocking on motherboards with locked bios' - no idea if it'll help here though.

Hmm, come to think of it, Nvidia Ntune had something like that, wonder if that would work?

It's never going to be as stable as a BIOS overclock though surely?

I expect nTune only works with Nvidia chipset motherboards.

All software OCing is a bit bunk anyway; you're right in thinking it's not very stable.
