I cant rename or copy a file :/

Ive just tried to rename a file and i got an error message saying its being used by another program (it isnt theres nothing else running) and then i tried to copy it and i got the same error....But i try another file and it works perfect?
Any ideas?
Ive tried restarts e.t.c

Try a program called Unlocker ... Lets you ammend files that tend to be locked by a process etc ...

hijackthis has an option for deleting a file before windows can lock it on booting up.

theres another called moveonboot aswell

Failing these I highly recommend the windows forums, as

rm file
Denied!
sudo rm file
Yes boss!
