I can't save anything from the internet now!

When ever i click on exe to download or to run, i get the prompt dialog as normal and for some reason there is no icon showing. When i click on save, save it to my desktop and hit run i get

"This application has failed to start because the application configuaration is incorrect, reinstalling the application may fix this problem"

It was working eariler today so i dont know whats wrong now...

So you can save the files, they just don't run when you try them?

What browser/OS is this with? Have you tried saving them to say C:\Downloads or your My Documents rather than to the desktop?

Just tried, the same things.

My computer is getting weird now and now. I can't run BF2 without getting the BSOD. I think its because this RAID is now partitioned....

Did the download problem only start after you partitioned your RAID setup?
