Right, I got some hosting, from http://www.surpasshosting.com. (The "MAX" plan, if thats helpfull) for a year.

Now, I linked www.psypher5.co.uk to it through my domain host, ok that works fine.

I installed e107 ( a CMS) on ascension.psypher5.co.uk, first of all that had problems but thats just me not knowing squat about mysql. After I figured that out and got it working, created a super admin called admin, users registered all fine and happy. I go to register as my alias (psypher) and it throws a 404 error at me.

It only did this in the install setup due to wrong inputted name, or soemthing thats nto allowed. So why is psypher not allowed? I can make a user, test worked, as did p5ypher, but if i edit within e107 or mysql (phpmyadmin) it 404's me.

Anyhelp? :(

Seems to register fine for me..

You checked over all the permissions again and made sure all the correct files are uploaded?

Have another gander through your e107 settings.

Or even.. why not use psypher as your user/admin account in one?

Cant change the super admin name, its set as admin ( i think, well, it wont let me change anything else so i doubt itll let me change that)

all the settings are fine as far as i can see, and all the files are there (as i unloaded the zip from within the ftp)
