i cant wait to see my 8 year olds face when he opens his wii on xmas day with mario galaxy and pokemon. i cant wait to see his face when i open metal slug anthology for me . how long do you think i should let him play berfore i kick him off i was thinking abuot 10 mins.

10mins!! Way too long, the kid needs to appreciate that the good things in life don't come for free.

Show him what it can do, then give him a Sparta kick into the kitchen to help his mum peel sprouts.

if i dont i might become slightly unhinged and do something silly like pick up the christmas wrapping or help the wife with dinner ( can feel dizyness comming on already ) .

Get an empty Wii box, fill it with coal and give that to him! You keep the real Wii for your self!

Get your wii box and fill it with a Nes instead, and cram a Super Mario brod 3 cartidge into the galaxy case.

"eh yeah, this is the new wii model, they remade it like they did with the ds"

then just keep the wii to yourself

"no no, this aint a wii, this is the new, um, ipod, yeah"

Watch him play for a while, then when he messes up grab the controller and say....

'You dont do it like that!'

Then the Wii is then yours
