I changed to Genie o2 tariff. how do i check balance

I was on o2 pay and go normal. changed to o2 genie pay and go which seems exactly the same but you get 300 free texts into the bargain (why have i been wasting my money :eek:

)

anyway, i want to check how many texts i have left.

I tried calling 4444, then 2 then 2 again and it keeps saying ‘you either don’t have a bolt on or one we cant read the balance for’

Also when I text ‘balance’ to 20202 I don’t get any text back?

Is there another way to check how many texts I have left?

afaik its typing *#10# into your phone gives you the balance on an o2 payg sim

i can get the balance for my calltime ok however i thought i could get something to tell me how many texts i have left

try on your automated help line thing, ie orange tmob 150 option 1.

You cant find that out without talking to customer services (charged at local rate).
