The other day I bought a blackberry play book to replace my regretfully misplaced iPad 1. I thought surely with all that new hardware, the play book would run rings around my old iPad.

How wrong I was. The thing was god damn awful. No apps, choppy GUI, choppy web browsing and just....it didn't feel write.

The good news is, I took it back today and am now writing this on my new iPad 2. Well worth the extra 150 quid or so.

I guess my point is, i honestly think the iPad is the best tablet on the market.

I had a mess around with a playbook myself, awful bit of kit. I just don't understand why other companies cannot produce a tablet that is at least as good as the ipad. It's been out for ages now, is there really anything that mysterious about it? Instead they rush out poorly thought out products that fail to delivery, perpetuating the idea that any tablet thats not an ipad is pants. Though to be fair I've not tried any of the Samsung offerings.

Apple have always been better than Blackberry, the only other comparable tablets are the Samsung Galaxy and a few Windows based ones
