I took a wrong turning into the woods yesterday so I had to go slightly off the road to turn around. Unfortunately there was a tree stump in my way which I didn't see. The car mounted the tree stump leaving all the wheels just off the ground. Very embarrassing.
Anyway, a nice man from the RAC came, jacked up the car and put piles of logs we found in the woods under the wheels and then towed me off it.
I am worried I've done damage to the underneath of the car though. He said it'd be ok because the bottom's not exposed, there's some sort of cover, but it doesn't look like it's made of much. I had to drive home for about 80 miles after the 'incident' and nothing bad happened, does that mean it's ok? Or should I get it checked?
