I despair sometimes

My mum and her sister are paying £30 each to go and see Sally Morgan. They really miss their parents and want to make contact.

I cannot believe they are so gullible. How can they believe this con woman who is profiting from their loss and grieving ?

No matter what I say, they are convinced of her 'ability'. These people should not be allowed to get away with these things. Absolute parasites imo. My mum is going to be disappointed because they know absolutely nothing and are just out for a few quid. And then I get to see my mum disappointed which upsets me.

Actually, I don't believe all psychics are fake. I do believe that some people, who do not seek fame and fortune, are capable of some kind of tuning in, if you will.

However, I also believe that these experiences are bound to places and times. I think that maybe a true medium can go to a house where there has been a tragic event and pick up on the energy there.

I do not believe that some woman can go into a 10,000 seater arena in the middle of Glasgow and suddenly pick up the spirit of Dave, who died 5 years ago in Leeds.

Exactly, that level of deception has cost a life that could have been so happy once the girl was discovered.

I am adamant there is a difference between psychics and mediums though. Actually, there is another sense called clairvoyance which is far more common.

Actually, many people think exploding head syndrome is a type of clairvoyance. You know the one, when you're dropping of to sleep and a loud bang wakes you up but you have no idea where it came from. I'm sure most of you have had it.
