I dont know what this drive partition is

I have a HP Server and i have an 8mb file part of my C:\ file system

FS: none partition 0x12 (Compaq Setup)

google isnt being any help. Anyone know what this is? and is it needed to do a full restore of a hard drive?

I'd hazard a guess that its either part of the extended BIOS (compaq used to do that a lot), or its a partition of system tools for use with the recovery CD's.
