I don't like hdr

Normal sd and hd is fine, I have energy saving off, contrast about 65, peak brightness on, oled light about 40, all other processing disabled except true film or whatever it's called

However put the hdr disc in, oled is at 100, peak brightness high, dynamic mode mapping on and arrrgh retinas

oled light setting should exist, so you a normal light output, for a known ***** screen in non her, then it has HDR oled, so with a white screen in her, it has specific light output.

Oled light effects everything so with contrast, peak brightness, energy saving off, dynamic gone mapping it is very bright. I watch in a unlit room, curtains drawn, the only light is the LEDs behind the TV 4*24 and 2x9" strips

Should be off on SDR and high on HDR.

Honestly sounds like you’ve spent a lot of money on an OLED and then changed all the settings to awful ones.

It's low on sdr, high on hdr. Either way full bright oled 100 is way too much, I don't mind bright highlights but oled light 100 means it's always bright for everything, this may be ok when it's a bright room but in a unlit room with only bias light behind its LCD piecing bright
